About this policy
keyInTwi is an offline custom keyboard for typing Twi/Akan on iPhone and iPad. This policy explains how the keyInTwi containing app and keyboard extension handle information.
Information we collect
keyInTwi does not collect personal data or usage data. The app does not include analytics, advertising, tracking, accounts, or a crash-reporting service. We do not receive or store the text you type.
Keyboard input
Text entered with the keyInTwi keyboard is processed on your device so the keyboard can insert characters and offer bundled suggestions, autocorrection, and next-word predictions. Typed text is not transmitted to us or to a third party.
keyInTwi does not request or require Allow Full Access. Its core typing features work without a network connection.
Vocabulary and personalization
The keyboard uses a read-only vocabulary bundled with the app. This version does not learn, retain, or synchronize personal words or typing history. Vocabulary qualification records describe bundled product data and never contain user-entered text.
Diagnostics
Release builds do not send diagnostics to us. Local development logs may record keyboard lifecycle events, active layout mode, dimensions, result counts, and timing. They are designed not to contain typed words, suggestion text, or other keyboard content.
Third parties
keyInTwi does not use third-party advertising, analytics, or keyboard-processing services. Apple may process App Store purchases, downloads, diagnostics, and device information under Apple’s own privacy policy; that processing is not controlled by keyInTwi.
Children
keyInTwi does not knowingly collect information from children or any other users because it does not collect user data.
Data retention and deletion
Because keyInTwi does not collect or store personal data, there is no keyInTwi account or server-side user record to access, export, or delete. Removing the app and keyboard from your device removes the app’s locally installed components.
Changes to this policy
This policy will be updated before keyInTwi introduces any feature that changes its data practices, such as analytics, cloud suggestions, accounts, synchronization, or learned personal vocabulary. The effective date above identifies the current version.
